This story seems to have gone on for years:
The Australian War Memorial (AWM) is nearly finished spending $550m or more of taxpayers' money to build more space.
The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) gave the AWM a bare pass on the management of the project.
Four Corners on the ABC was critical of the AWM - and one of its principal witnesses was Minister Keogh.
The AWM Director got very cross.
The ABC Ombudsman reckoned the Four Corners show was fair enough.
The AWM complained to the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) about Four Corners.
ACMA gave Four Corners a serve.
The boss of the ABC struck back.
The ABC's Media Watch tut-tutted more than usually at length and more than usually firmly.
Isn't it about time we moved on?
Meanwhile, in the United States, the President got cross with the networks for (allegedly) not reporting fairly. He punted them from the White House. We are not at that stage - yet.
